abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit both an optical signal and an electric signal, and to transmit an optical signal satisfactorily without occurrence of cracks or peeling even when receiving a thermal history. Provided is a multilayer printed wiring board in which an optical waveguide that can be formed is formed. An under-cladding portion formed of a cladding resin composition containing particles having a particle size shorter than the wavelength of propagating light and having no corners; and an over-cladding portion formed of the cladding resin composition; , Formed of a core resin composition containing particles having a particle diameter shorter than the wavelength of propagating light and having no corners, and formed of a core resin composition having a refractive index different from that of the under cladding portion and the over cladding portion. A multilayer printed wiring board comprising: a core portion; and a substrate on which an optical waveguide having the under clad portion, the core portion, and the over clad portion laminated in this order is formed.
