abstract |
An optical element capable of improving light stability and maintaining its characteristics for a long time and an optical pickup device having good pickup characteristics using the optical element are provided. An optical element comprising an alicyclic hydrocarbon copolymer having a repeating unit containing at least an alicyclic structure, at least one hindered amine stabilizer, and at least one phenol stabilizer. The molar ratio is 1 <(when the number of moles of all piperidyl groups in the hindered amine stabilizer is (A) and the number of moles of all hydroxyphenyl groups in the phenol stabilizer is (B).
