abstract A method for producing nanoparticles is provided. In a method of producing nanoparticles by a gas-to-particle conversion method, a gas discharge is applied to a decomposition product of a precursor generated after decomposing the precursor or an initial condensate of the decomposition product, thereby producing a precursor. By condensing the body's degradation products or the initial condensate of the degradation products with the same kind of charge, they are condensed into low dispersion nanoparticles.
