titleOfInvention Method for producing granules for nitrate nitrogen treatment
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granulated product for denitrification treatment having a high denitrification ability by combining melted and solidified sulfur as a binder and integrating sulfur powder and carbonate powder, excellent in mass productivity, and having desired voids and strength. To manufacture. An alkaline earth metal carbonate used for denitrification of nitrate nitrogen by biological treatment with sulfur-oxidizing bacteria and a nitrate nitrogen treatment material containing sulfur as a main component are produced by alkali. Blended at a ratio of 40 to 90 parts by weight of an earth metal carbonate powder and 10 to 60 parts by weight of sulfur powder, granulated to obtain a granulated product, and then the granulated product was heat treated to at least one of the sulfur powders. In a state where the part is melted and has the same or similar shape as the granulated product, the carbonate powder is bonded and cross-linked with the melted sulfur to produce a granular treatment material having a porosity of 10 to 40%.
