An antireflection paint, an antireflection film, and a method for producing the same are provided that have improved mechanical strength and antireflection performance. An anti-reflective coating comprises an initiator and an oxide-containing colloid including colloidal particles having polymerizable functional groups. Since the film made of the antireflection paint is formed by stacking colloidal particles, it is provided with a plurality of nanopores and can introduce fluorine-containing functional groups. Therefore, the effective refractive index (N eff ) of the antireflection film can be significantly reduced to 1.45 or less, and the reflectance can be suppressed to 3% or less. Moreover, since the colloidal particles have a polymerizable functional group, they can be cross-linked with each other, and thereby the mechanical strength and hardness are extremely excellent.
