abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding packaging material which is excellent in light shielding properties, can be used in a microwave oven, and is inexpensive, and a package using the same. In the light-shielding packaging material of the present invention, an inner layer 1, a light-shielding adhesive layer 2 containing a light-shielding adhesive, and a surface layer 3 are laminated in this order. A printed layer may be provided on at least one of the surfaces on both sides of the surface layer 1. In the light-shielding packaging material of the present invention, two or more light-shielding adhesive layers are provided between the inner layer 1 and the surface layer 3 via intermediate layers between the light-shielding adhesive layers, and the surface layer. 3 may be provided on the inner layer 1 side of the outermost light-shielding adhesive layer that is darker than the outermost light-shielding adhesive layer adjacent to the outermost light-shielding adhesive layer.
