There is provided a mattress corresponding to a bed apparatus having a bottom extending function, in which a mattress around a foot can be matched with contraction of the bottom of the bed apparatus with a simpler configuration. A single-layer urethane foam 11 is covered as a mattress material, and a surface 12 is covered with a non-woven fabric, a polyester knitted fabric, or a water-repellent cloth member. The mattress 10 has a total length corresponding to the bed apparatus in a state where the length of the main frame 4 is extended. And in this mattress 10, the bottom side of the bed apparatus is subjected to a punching process for locally adjusting the degree of repulsion on the foot side portion to be placed on the extension bottom on the extension frame.
