abstract There is provided a mattress corresponding to a bed apparatus having a bottom extending function, in which a mattress around a foot can be matched with contraction of the bottom of the bed apparatus with a simpler configuration. A single-layer urethane foam 11 is covered as a mattress material, and a surface 12 is covered with a non-woven fabric, a polyester knitted fabric, or a water-repellent cloth member. The mattress 10 has a total length corresponding to the bed apparatus in a state where the length of the main frame 4 is extended. And in this mattress 10, the bottom side of the bed apparatus is subjected to a punching process for locally adjusting the degree of repulsion on the foot side portion to be placed on the extension bottom on the extension frame. The foot side adjustment unit 13 is configured to be capable of following contraction deformation following the shortening adjustment of the length. [Selection] Figure 2
