abstract The present invention relates to a method capable of detecting calmodulin structural changes simply and in a short time in a quantitative and real-time manner, and to efficiently search for substances having an activity that affects calmodulin structural changes from a large number of substances. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method that can be used. A test substance whose activity is to be detected is acted on a sample film made of calmodulin, and a change in tension and / or elasticity of the sample film compared to before the test substance is acted on is detected by a mechanochemical sensor. Thus, a method capable of measuring the activity of inducing or inhibiting the structural change of calmodulin possessed by the test substance in a short time in real time is provided.
