abstract | Provided is a lithographic printing plate precursor capable of image exposure with a laser and on-press development and having both high sensitivity and white light safety. A lithographic printing plate precursor comprising (A) a polymerization initiator and (B) a polymerizable compound and having an image recording layer removable with a printing ink and / or dampening water on a support. The sensitivity is 100 times or more in an atmosphere having an oxygen concentration of 0.05 vol%, and the wavelength is 250 to 250 in an atmosphere having an oxygen concentration of 0.05 vol% or less, compared to the sensitivity in an atmosphere having an oxygen concentration of 20 vol%.
