abstract | To provide a flame retardant ethylene copolymer composition excellent in mechanical properties, flame retardancy and processability. A flame-retardant ethylene copolymer composition is an ethylene-based copolymer selected from an ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer, an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester copolymer, and an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer. Copolymer (A); more than 99% by weight and not more than 99.9% by weight; Resin (B) comprising a multi-component propylene copolymer in which components other than propylene are copolymerized in an amount of 0.1 to 20 mol%; 0.1 wt% or more and less than 1 wt% ((A) + (B) = 100 wt% %) A polymer composition obtained by melt-kneading in the presence of 0.005 to 3 parts by weight of an organic peroxide (C) with respect to a total of 100 parts by weight of (A) and (B); Inorganic flame retardant (D); 5 to 250 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight in total of (A) and (B).
