titleOfInvention | Method for producing 2,5-bis (aminomethyl) -1,4-dithiane compound |
abstract | Provided is a method for industrially advantageously and efficiently producing a 2,5-bis (aminomethyl) -1,4-dithiane compound useful as a raw material for producing optical products, particularly high refractive index plastic lenses. (A) A 2,5-bis (halomethyl) -1,4-dithiane compound (1), an aldehyde (3) and ammonia are reacted, and the remaining ammonia is distilled off from the obtained reaction solution. Then, an acid is added to the reaction solution and stirred, or (B) 2,5-bis (halomethyl) -1,4-dithiane compound (1), aldehyde (4) and ammonia are reacted, The resulting reaction solution is stirred in the presence of water while removing the aldehyde (4). (In the formula, R 1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R 2 represents an alkyl group or a phenyl group, R 3 represents an alkyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, and X represents a halogen atom.) ) [Selection figure] None |
