abstract The present invention has an angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitory activity that is said to be capable of regulating an increase in blood pressure, and is widely used in medicines, quasi drugs, food additives, functional foods and the like for preventing or treating hypertension. Providing possible peptide compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. A peptide compound having an angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibitory activity represented by the following amino acid sequence is prepared using a proteolytic enzyme decomposition solution of salmon muscle or liver, or a processed product thereof.
