abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ink jet recording head that does not erode a member in a recording head, can perform a highly durable surface treatment without unevenness even at room temperature, and can efficiently remove bubbles. An ink jet recording head for water-based ink is manufactured, which includes an electrostatic actuator in which a silicon nozzle plate having a silicon oxide film formed thereon and a silicon substrate having an ink flow path formed thereon are provided on a glass substrate. A recording head containing a specific compound, a water-soluble organic solvent, a dye, and water, and having a solution viscosity of 2.0 mPa ยท sec or less at room temperature.
