abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for efficiently and stably applying a lubricant without causing uneven application of the lubricant on the surface of the photoreceptor, and improving the cleaning property of the surface of the photoreceptor. Provided is an image forming apparatus that prevents generation of an image and outputs a high-quality image. A cleaning blade 61 disposed in contact with the surface of a photoreceptor 1 and lubrication disposed on the upstream side in the rotational direction of the photoreceptor 1 with respect to the cleaning blade 61 and applying a solid lubricant 64 to the surface of the photoreceptor 1 An image forming apparatus using a cleaning device 6 provided with an agent applying unit 62 and a toner removing unit 65 disposed upstream of the lubricant applying unit 62 in the rotation direction of the image carrier 1 and removing toner. The means 65 is characterized in that the toner scraping power is higher than that of the lubricant applying means 62. [Selection] Figure 2 |
