titleOfInvention Polyester for toner
abstract To provide a toner polyester capable of reducing damage to a photoreceptor due to toner and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A reaction tank having a discharge port 9 is obtained by a production method comprising a step (A) of subjecting an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component to polycondensation and a step (B) of extracting the obtained polyester from the discharge port. The content of a colored product having an L * value of 40 or less per 1 kg of polyester is 0.2 g or less. The manufacturing method is based on a manufacturing apparatus provided with a flash valve 2 having a cooling jacket 6 structure at the outlet of the reaction vessel. [Selection] Figure 1
