titleOfInvention | Rare earth activated alkaline earth metal fluorohalide photostimulable phosphor and radiation image conversion panel using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth activated alkaline earth metal fluorohalide having no emission distribution in a stimulable phosphor particle, a radiation image conversion panel using the same having good granularity and a small decrease in emission intensity due to X-ray damage. It is an object to provide a system photostimulable phosphor and a radiation image conversion panel using the same. A rare earth activated alkaline earth metal fluorohalide-based photostimulable phosphor represented by the following general formula (I) and having a light emitting area of 50 to 100% of the surface area of the phosphor particles. General formula (I) Ba (1-x) M 2 (x) FBr (y) I (1-y) : aM 1 , bLn, cO (Wherein M 1 is Li, Na, K, Rb and Cs, M 2 is Be, Mg, Sr and Ca, Ln is Ce, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Tm, Dy, Ho, Nd, Er and Yb, x, y, a, b and c are respectively 0 ≦ x ≦ 0.3, 0 ≦ y ≦ 0.3, 0 ≦ a ≦ 0.05, 0 <b ≦ 0.2, 0 ≦ c ≦ 0.1) [Selection] Figure 1 |
