An object of the present invention is to provide a halogenated alkoxysilane in a high yield without generating a corrosive gas such as hydrogen chloride gas. A process for producing a halogenated alkoxysilane in which a tetrahalosilane represented by Chemical Formula 14 and an orthoformate represented by Chemical Formula 15 are reacted to produce a halogenated alkoxysilane represented by Chemical Formula 16.
