PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a gas purification method for obtaining a purified gas having a high concentration of methane by simultaneously separating and removing carbon dioxide and siloxane compounds contained in the raw gas from the raw gas by a simple method. SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide is dissolved in high-pressure water by contacting a raw gas containing methane, carbon dioxide and a siloxane compound with water in a high-pressure state satisfying a range of 0.55 to 2.0 MPa. In the gas purification method, the siloxane compound is condensed and separated from the raw gas while being separated from the raw gas, thereby obtaining a purified gas having a high concentration of the methane.
