titleOfInvention Pest repellent and cultivation method for reducing pest damage
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pest repellent and a cultivation method for reducing damage of pests. A pest repellent containing 1-hexacosanol contained in oat juice or oat as an active ingredient and a cultivation method for reducing damage of pests by planting oat as a previous crop. [Effect] To provide a novel pest repellent and cultivation method. This pest repellent can prevent damage to crops due to pest damage behavior by preventing pest damage. In addition, they are all plant-derived substances, have high safety and little impact on the environment. Furthermore, since the insect pest itself is not killed, no individual having drug resistance is generated. The cultivation method of cultivating crops after planting and adding oats in advance can reduce damage to succeeding crops, particularly root vegetables. [Selection figure] None
