abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for emulsifying a compound having a perfluoroalkyl group even if it is free of a surfactant. SOLUTION: 1) A compound having a perfluoroalkyl group and 2) a polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid are contained in an emulsifier type skin external preparation. The compound having a perfluoroalkyl group is preferably a perfluoropolyether. The polyhydric alcohol ester of alginic acid is preferably propylene glycol alginate.
