titleOfInvention Exhaust gas purification catalyst
abstract The present invention provides an exhaust gas purifying catalyst that further suppresses grain growth of a catalyst noble metal and has excellent durability. A highly heat-resistant oxide 1 having a multilayer structure with a gap 10 between layers, and a compound formed in the gap 10 between layers, in which a noble metal is dissolved in an oxidizing atmosphere and a noble metal precipitated in a reducing atmosphere is precipitated. The solid solution precipitation layer 2 and the catalyst noble metal 3 contained in the solid solution precipitation layer 2 are included. Since the solid solution precipitation layer 2 formed in the gap 10 between the layers is thin, the response between the solid solution of the catalyst noble metal in the oxidizing atmosphere and the precipitation of the catalyst noble metal in the reducing atmosphere becomes sharp.
