titleOfInvention PET-MRI hybrid system
abstract A medical imaging apparatus and method capable of simultaneously providing anatomical information and molecular information of a living tissue. A first scanner and a second scanner are connected to a transfer rail, and a cradle capable of fixing an inspection object is provided on the transfer rail. The transfer rail is designed so that the geometric reference point remains the same between the first scanner and the second scanner. Further, between the first scanner and the second scanner, an RF + magnetic field shield for shielding an external RF and a magnetic field leaked from the first scanner, and a magnetic field shield for shielding an external magnetic field that affects the second scanner. Is provided. The inspection object fixed to the cradle moves to the first scanner or the second scanner along the transfer rail. The RF + magnetic field shield and the magnetic field shield are controlled in synchronization with the position and movement of the cradle. The images obtained from the first scanner and the second scanner are fused. [Selection] Figure 4
