PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress nonspecific adsorption of a biomolecule while amplifying a binding signal in a measurement system using a peptide chip. In particular, a peptide chip capable of obtaining highly reliable data is obtained when used for measurement by surface plasmon resonance. A method for immobilizing a peptide on a chip through a thiol group, wherein the compound represented by formula (I) is used as a crosslinking agent.
