abstract The present invention provides a cacao bean hull extract that can be produced using a hull of cocoa beans and has physiological activity. A cocoa bean hull extract obtained by extracting a cocoa bean hull with a polar solvent. The cocoa bean hull extract contains phenethylamine. The polar solvent is preferably an alcohol such as methanol or ethanol. In addition, as the cocoa bean hull, the one produced when cocoa mass is produced using the endosperm portion of cocoa beans as a raw material can be used. [Selection] Figure 3
