abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing and suppressing the function of a protein by selectively degrading the protein using a ubiquitin-dependent proteolytic system. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The present invention basically applies a function that a predetermined protein is decomposed by ubiquitin modification. That is, a protein (protein A-RFD) complex in which a target protein (protein A) and a protein (RFD) capable of interacting with a ubiquitin-binding enzyme are fused is expressed. And it decomposes | disassembles by carrying out ubiquitin modification of the protein X couple | bonded with the protein A. As a result, functions such as protein X are analyzed and suppressed.
