abstract | Non-magnetic one-component negatively charged spherical toner that can prevent embedding and releasing of external additive particles even when the sphericity of toner mother particles is increased, has high transfer efficiency, and can improve durability during continuous printing. A full-color image forming apparatus in which the amount of toner filming and the amount of residual toner on a latent image carrier is small, the latent image carrier can be cleaner-less, and the size can be reduced. Non-magnetic one-component negatively charged spherical toner is a toner applied to a full-color image forming apparatus in which a latent image carrier is cleanerless, and the toner comprises toner mother particles and external additive particles. The mechanical strength obtained by a 10% displacement load of the compression displacement curve obtained when performing a micro compression test is 7 to 19 MPa, the toner base particles are composed of a binder resin and a colorant, and the external additive particles are specified. It consisted of hydrophobic inorganic fine particles having a particle size and hydrophobic monodispersed spherical silica particles having a specific particle size, and the work function of the hydrophobic monodispersed spherical silica particles was made smaller than the work function of the toner base particles.
