abstract | A high-load power transmission belt and a method for manufacturing the same are provided, which can prevent the vibration, noise, and heat generation of the belt by suppressing the swing of the block in the running direction and can be easily manufactured. A high load transmission belt having a plurality of blocks 2 mounted along the longitudinal direction of the center belt 3, the center belt 3 being set with the center belt 3 coated with an adhesive 6 on the surface thereof. The high load transmission belt 1 is obtained by surrounding the mold with a resin material and feeding the resin material to form the block 2 and attaching the block 2 to the center belt 3 at the same time.
