abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film having a low refractive index layer having an excellent surface hardness without causing polymerization inhibition by oxygen and having both excellent scratch resistance and productivity, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In an antireflection film 10 having a low refractive index layer 5 on a transparent support substrate 1, photocationic polymerization in which the low refractive index layer 5 is mainly composed of a compound having three or more ring-opening polymerizable groups. It shall be formed by a thing. The step of applying and curing the layer can be performed at an oxygen concentration in the atmosphere. The antireflection film 10 is suitably used for polarizing plates and image display devices. [Selection] Figure 1 |
