titleOfInvention Sample characteristic measurement device
abstract The present invention relates to a specimen property measuring apparatus using a colored test paper whose color tone changes due to a difference in specimen properties, and to measure the specimen characteristics in more detail. A reflection type optical sensor includes a light emitting element having light emission characteristics in a wide wavelength range and two light receiving elements having different light receiving characteristics depending on a detection wavelength band. The storage unit 132 of the control IC 120 stores a standard table for the reflectance change with time for each characteristic of the specimen for each detection wavelength band. When the specimen is applied to the test piece 102 of the color test paper 100 and the test piece 102 develops color, light is applied from the light emitting element 20, and the reflectance of the returned light is detected by the two light receiving elements 50a and 50b. The time change of the reflectance in the detection wavelength band is calculated. The time change is compared with a standard table, and the characteristics of the specimen are measured.
