titleOfInvention | Indium phosphide nanowires coated with carbon film and method for producing the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemically inert indium phosphide nanowire coated with a carbon film and a method for producing the same, useful as a material for high-speed electronic devices and optical devices. SOLUTION: A mixture 4 of indium phosphide powder and indium powder is heated to 950 ° C. to 1050 ° C. for 0.5 hours to 0.8 hours in an inert gas stream to synthesize indium phosphide nanowires. The indium phosphide nanowires are then deposited by depositing a carbon film on the surface of the indium phosphide nanowires by continuously heating to 950 ° C. to 1050 ° C. for 10 to 30 minutes while flowing an inert gas and methane gas. Cover with carbon film. Since the carbon film is chemically stable, the oxidation of the indium phosphide nanowires is prevented to prevent the properties from deteriorating. [Selection] Figure 2 |
