The A fluorocarboxylic acid MOD method using, La illustrating a practical T c of greater than T c of the Y-based superconductor, Nd, provides a method capable of producing the Sm-based superconductor. A metal acetate containing a metal M selected from the group consisting of lanthanum, neodymium and samarium is a fluorocarboxylic acid having 3 or more carbon atoms, barium acetate is a fluorocarboxylic acid having 2 carbon atoms, and copper acetate is carbon. A coating solution is prepared by purifying by reacting with a fluorocarboxylic acid having a number of 2 or more, and dissolving the reaction product in methanol so that the molar ratio of the metal M, barium and copper is 1: 2: 3. Then, the coating solution is formed on a substrate to form a gel film, and calcined and burned to obtain an oxide superconductor. [Selection] Figure 1 |
