titleOfInvention Method for manufacturing liquid discharge head and liquid discharge head obtained by the method
abstract In a method of manufacturing a liquid discharge head using a solid layer that can be dissolved and removed, which is a mold that defines a flow path pattern, and a discharge port forming material layer that covers the solid layer, these layers are in direct contact with each other at the discharge port portion. To provide a liquid discharge head that does not generate scum in an interface region and enables accurate discharge of small droplets and a method for manufacturing the same. The energy element and the discharge port are formed by removing a solid layer 3 that can be dissolved and removed and a discharge port forming material layer 4 that covers the dissolution-removable solid layer 3 that defines a flow path pattern. In the method for producing a liquid discharge head for forming a communication channel, a material containing a cationic polymerizable compound, a photo cationic polymerization initiator, and a photo cationic polymerization inhibitor is used as a material for forming the coating layer. A material containing a copolymer of methacrylic acid and a methacrylic acid ester is used as a material for forming a boundary portion of the solid layer with a portion where the discharge port of the coating layer is formed.
