titleOfInvention | Image display device and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | An image display device manufacturing method capable of improving the yield by evaluating a filling distribution state of an image display medium in an image display plate before bonding two substrates together. One or more types of image display media are sealed between two opposing substrates, at least one of which is transparent, and an image is displayed by moving the image display media by an electric field generated in the substrate. In the image display apparatus manufacturing method for manufacturing the image display apparatus including the plate, the transmitted light distribution of the uniform light beam when the uniform light beam is irradiated from the light source 12 disposed on the back surface of the work 11 in the image display medium filling process is used. Intermediate inspection which is measured by the detection means 13 and analyzes the output signal of the light detection means 13 in the PC 14 to evaluate the filling distribution state (uniformity) of the image display medium of the work 11 based on the in-plane standard deviation of the transmission luminance. And by reworking the work 11 that has become NG in the intermediate inspection, the number of NG of the final product is reduced and the yield is improved. [Selection] Figure 4 |
