Automotive engine cooling resin molded parts |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a PPS resin composition which is excellent in calcium chloride resistance and high-temperature mechanical strength and particularly excellent in impact resistance, coolant resistance and low specific gravity as compared with a conventional polyamide resin containing glass fibers. An object of the present invention is to provide an automotive engine cooling system resin molded part having durability even with a thinner wall. SOLUTION: From (A) 45 to 83% by weight of a polyphenylene sulfide resin, (B) 15 to 35% by weight of a polyethylene resin, and (C) 2 to 20% by weight of a copolymerized polyolefin obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and glycidyl methacrylate. An engine cooling system resin molded part for automobiles obtained by injection molding a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition obtained by blending 30 to 100 parts by weight of (D) glass fiber with respect to 100 parts by weight of the resulting composition.
