abstract |
Pt sintering employed in a lean NOx catalyst is suppressed. A Ce-based compound oxide in which Ce is arranged in a crystal lattice is employed as an oxygen supply source for oxidizing NO in exhaust gas to NO 2 and absorbing it in a NOx absorbent. Pt is arranged between crystal lattices or atoms of the oxide so that the Pt is exposed on the crystallite surface of the Ce-based double oxide. [Selection] Figure 2 |
