titleOfInvention | Developing carrier and developing method using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer carrier capable of stably obtaining a high-quality image free from image defects such as density reduction, density unevenness, fog, toner fusion, blotch and sweeping in each environment, and the same A development method is provided. In a developer carrying member having a substrate and a resin coating layer formed on the substrate, the resin coating layer has a volume average particle size of 3.0 to 9.0 μm, and the resin coating layer surface is provided with irregularities. For imparting concavity and convexity to the surface, and imparting conductivity with a graphitization degree P (002) of 0.20 ≦ P (002) ≦ 0.95 and a volume average particle size of 0.5 to 4.0 μm. In the volume particle size distribution of the particles contained in the resin coating layer, the abundance ratio of particles having a volume particle size of 10 μm or more is 5.0% or less.
