titleOfInvention Inclusion measuring method and inclusion measuring apparatus
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately measure the particle size of inclusions present in a metal sample. As a discharge generating capacitor 52a constituting a discharge circuit 52A of a light emitting device 52, a capacitor having a capacity of 8 to 16 μF, a voltage of 300 to 500 V, and a discharge time per pulse of 80 to 190 μh. By generating a pulse discharge under conditions, the inclusions present on the surface to be inspected of the metal sample are subjected to emission spectroscopic analysis. Based on the result of the emission spectroscopic analysis, the maximum particle size of the inclusions present in the inspection reference area of the metal sample is measured, and the statistical processing based on the extreme value statistical method is performed using the maximum particle size. The estimated maximum particle size of inclusions present in the area where the sample is predicted is measured. [Selection] Figure 5
