Method for producing optically active compound |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining an optically active amide compound or an optically active carboxylic acid compound in an efficient and high yield by broadening the application range of the epicrystallization method. A diastereomeric mixture (I) of amide compounds obtained by reacting a carboxylic acid ester compound with an optically active primary amine is the same while equilibrating the carbon atom at the carbonyl group α-position in the presence of a base. A method for producing an optically active compound (Ia) or (Ib), which comprises a step of crystallizing the optically active compound (Ia) or (Ib) in the reaction system (epicrystallization crystallization step). [Chemical 1] (Wherein R 1 and R 2 each represents an organic group, R 3 and R 4 are each connected to a carbon atom at the α-position of the carbonyl group by a carbon-carbon bond, and stable in the presence of a base, etc. However, R 1 and R 2 or R 3 and R 4 do not mean the same group at the same time.)
