titleOfInvention Suspended pharmaceutical composition containing tranilast or a pharmacologically acceptable salt
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition containing tranilast having high safety, excellent absorption of an active ingredient from the digestive tract and skin (eye), good stability to light and less irritation. SOLUTION: Tranilast or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof is contained as an active ingredient, the pH of the base is in the range of 3 to 7, and the center of the particle size distribution is 0.005 μm to 5 μm, This is solved by an aqueous suspension in which the 90% median diameter of the particle size distribution is 10 μm or less. This aqueous suspension can be applied to, for example, eye drops, nasal drops, oral preparations, lotions, ointments and the like. [Selection figure] None
