titleOfInvention Production method of single-walled carbon nanotube
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize single-walled carbon nanotube 6 that uses inexpensive carbon monoxide as a carbon source, does not contain catalyst particles in single-walled carbon nanotube 6, has few structural defects, and does not require purification treatment. And a production method in which the reaction conditions are low temperature and low pressure. SOLUTION: A supported catalyst 1 is prepared by supporting a main catalyst metal 3 and a promoter metal 4 on a support 2, and carbon monoxide as a carbon source is flowed to the supported catalyst 1, thereby vapor phase growth method. Thus, single-walled carbon nanotubes 6 are grown on the supported catalyst 1. [Selection] Figure 3
