abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum toner for a simultaneous development cleaning system using a direct injection charging mechanism capable of stably maintaining a contact density between toner particles and conductive fine particles in an appropriate range. SOLUTION: A toner composed of at least a binder resin and a pigment, to which conductive fine particles are externally added, a volume average particle diameter in a range of 3 to 10 μm, and a shape of the surface thereof, SPM measurement has a small unevenness period (S) of 10 to 150 nm and a large unevenness period (L) of 150 to 500 nm, and (L / S) is in the range of 3 to 50, and is conductive.
