abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoroalkyl silicon polymer compound and a halogen ion detecting element material using the same. The fluorinated alkyl silicon polymer compound of the present invention has a main chain formed of silicon and a side chain containing at least carbon and fluorine. This fluorinated alkyl silicon polymer compound has a conformation in which the silicon chain of the main chain surrounds the linear axis in a spiral shape around the linear axis. The fluorinated alkyl silicon polymer compound of the present invention can be used as a halogen ion detecting element material for detecting halogen ions. [Selection figure] None
