titleOfInvention Plasma display panel
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of increasing luminous efficiency while lowering a discharge starting voltage by providing another electrode between electrodes involved in the sustain discharge while inducing the sustain discharge to the counter discharge. . A barrier rib including first and second barrier rib members arranged in a direction extending and intersecting with an address electrode in a space between a first and a second substrate partitions a plurality of discharge cells. A phosphor layer is formed in the cell. An auxiliary partition wall member is disposed in parallel with a pair of second partition wall members adjacent to each other. Between the first and second substrates, first and second electrodes are alternately arranged corresponding to the second barrier rib members constituting each discharge cell, and cross the first barrier rib member corresponding to the auxiliary barrier rib members. A third electrode is formed to pass through the interior space of the discharge cell. Any one or more of the first, second, and third electrodes includes a protrusion that protrudes toward the mutually facing surface in the discharge cell. [Selection] Figure 2
