PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel crosslinked copolymer capable of selectively adsorbing fluorine ions and removing fluorine ions from fluorine ion-containing water, a method for producing the same, and a fluorine ion adsorbent comprising the same. A cross-linked copolymer comprising 50 to 95% by weight of a specific phosphate ester metal salt residue unit and 50 to 5% by weight of a cross-linkable monomer residue unit, and a specific polymerizable phosphate ester, A cross-linked copolymer that undergoes a radical polymerization reaction after preparing a water-in-oil emulsion by mixing an oleophilic solution comprising a cross-linkable monomer and an oil-soluble radical polymerization initiator and an aqueous solution of a trivalent to tetravalent metal salt.
