abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing lithium cobalt oxide powder having a simple production process, low cost and excellent properties. The method for producing lithium cobaltate powder of the present invention produces lithium cobaltate powder using oxalate gel. First, lithium nitrate and cobalt nitrate are used as reaction starting materials, oxalic acid is used as a chelating agent, and water is used as a solvent. First, an oxalate colloid solution compound is formed by a chelate reaction, and further heated to promote a polymerization condensation reaction to form an oxalate gel. Subsequently, heating is performed to remove the solvent and water generated from the polymerization condensation reaction, thereby obtaining a dry gel powder. Finally, the obtained dried gel powder is heated and subjected to a sintering reaction to form a layered rock salt type lithium cobalt oxide powder. [Selection] Figure 1 |
