abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing (Z) -1-phenyl-1-diethylaminocarbonyl-2-aminomethylcyclopropane hydrochloride simply and safely with high quality and high yield. (Z) -1-phenyl-1-diethylaminocarbonyl-2-phthalimidomethylcyclopropane is reacted in an aqueous methylamine solution having a concentration of 25% by weight or less to give (Z) -1-phenyl-1 A step of obtaining diethylaminocarbonyl-2-aminomethylcyclopropane, and the obtained (Z) -1-phenyl-1-diethylaminocarbonyl-2-aminomethylcyclopropane in a mixed solvent of ethyl acetate and isopropyl alcohol; A process for producing (Z) -1-phenyl-1-diethylaminocarbonyl-2-aminomethylcyclopropane hydrochloride, which comprises a step of treating with hydrogen chloride.
