titleOfInvention | Water injection battery and power generation method |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water injection battery having a novel configuration and a power generation method therefor having a sufficient power generation capability and having little deterioration in storage performance due to a self-discharge reaction. Also, provide a water-injecting battery that has a low environmental impact during storage, use, recycling, and disposal, and its power generation method. An acidic medium containing an acidic substance and a basic medium adjacent to or close to the acidic medium, wherein the second electrode is arranged and the basic substance is disposed. A basic medium containing, a first reactant containing a first reaction active material that causes an oxidation reaction at the first electrode 18, and a second reaction active material that causes a reduction reaction at the second electrode 20. Water or an aqueous solution is injected into the reaction field (in the cells 12 and 14) composed of the second reactant by the water injection means 22, and the acidic substance, the basic substance, the first reaction active substance, and the second substance are injected. The discharge reaction with the reactive active material is started. [Selection] Figure 2 |
