titleOfInvention | Thin flexible low absorbency absorbent article with leak protection |
abstract | A disposable absorbent pant with fluid handling properties useful to facilitate toilet training. The pants include a thin flexible absorbent pad that can accommodate one or two releases with a low risk of leakage. The pants can be less than about 5 millimeters thick and the absorbent pad can be less than about 3 millimeters thick. The pants have a limited absorption capacity between about 30 grams to about 400 grams, which contributes to slow fluid uptake, fluid storage, and delayed fluid confinement to the absorbent pad. . The pants also have a significant fluid distribution, resulting in a large wet area. Each of these fluid handling characteristics makes the wearer aware of the fullness of the pants. |
