abstract | The present invention relates to a method for separating at least two biological components contained in a liquid having different pI values. This method comprises i. providing a first separation path comprising at least one separation layer comprising one or more pH active ingredients having pH active groups; ii. Subjecting a liquid containing biological components to a separable coating; iii. Applying a voltage to the separation path; iv. Transferring at least some biological components to one or more collection stations toward one of the electrodes; v. Collecting the biological components once separated from at least one collection station. The invention also relates to a separation system used in this method. The separation system comprises a set of separation paths, but the separation system comprises two or more separation paths that differ from each other with respect to the pH value of the separable coating. |
