abstract | The present invention provides a method for improving the thermal oxidative stability of distilled fuels in fuels of NH-containing heteroaromatic compounds in which the nitrogen atom of the NH group is part of the aromatic system. The fuel is characterized by selectively reducing the active concentration, wherein the fuel further contains an active metal compound or is exposed to the active metal compound during storage or use. The present invention further provides a method for determining the thermal oxidation stability of distilled fuel and an apparatus for carrying out the method. |
